Two new Community Solar Projects are being built in Nova Scotia as part of the Community Solar Program that launched last years. A 4.8 MW project is being built in Brooklyn, Annapolis County as part of a collaboration between Potlotek First Nation and AI Renewables. This project will provide power for up to 630 homes annually, making renewable energy more accessible to residents who cannot install solar panels themselves. Additionally, a 1.7 MW solar garden is planned for Sydney. Both projects are supported by the $10.6 million grant program that is being administered by Net Zero Atlantic. ctvnews.ca/atlantic/nova-…
