Scott making Charlie angry at adults is the least interesting motivation he could have given her as a character. It means Scott doesn't see the value of protection and is a bad Christian. If he didn't want us to think she was secretly a hero, he should've started on that in 2015.

I’ve said this before, but being a genuinely kind and authentic person who expresses your vulnerabilities and/or doesn’t follow certain unspoken “social hierarchy” rules will put a major target on your back by those who see those traits as “performative” or even manipulative/deceitful. People who consistently view others that way are telling on themselves. How we perceive the world (including other people) mirrors the conditions of our own inner world. A healthy person does not interpret basic consideration as some kind of control tactic. A grounded person does not consistently assume the worst of others. Doing so will either 1. eventually create a self-fulfilling prophecy, or, 2. result in the cognitive distortion of “confirmation bias,” where the other person cannot “win” no matter what they do because you have already decided their intentions or motivations for them.

Dakota Johnson failed an audition because she was deemed "cocky" and full of herself for shaking hands with everyone in the room. “I had an audition once, and it was a callback, and I went into the room, and I shook everyone’s hand and introduced myself. Then I did the scene,

Ok. So, I've seen a lot of talk on "Bear of Vengeance" lately so I took another look. And my mind is blown. The REAL audio translation reveals a lot, and most interestingly... is all about that freaking lake. THIS WILL BE A PART 2 TO THE THREAD BELOW SO READ THAT FIRST. (1/8)

Decided to make a thread on the red lake. I promise you that this is undeniably the BIGGEST find I have ever looked into. And it doesn’t get acknowledged enough. Solves Midnight Motorist, who died first, and UCN. (1/22)

@TobiMidnight You do realize these two separate characters are in fact, blue, right? I too can espouse blatantly apparent bs irrelevant to the sentiment of someone else's post.

@SkinnyTuna Parents don't sit their kids down in front of old media anymore, so the only exposure to art kids have is stuff that exists without any sincerity or morality or sentimentality

The only work that *deserves* translation is the Bible. If you don't learn Spanish, you're not entitled to Don Quixote; if you don't learn French, to Alphaville; Greek, to the Phaedo; Japanese, to Dragonball; Latin, to Ovid, etc.

"You can destroy whole planets but it seems you can't even destroy a single man?" This might be the greatest line in anime. "I am the Saiyan came from Earth to defeat you. Despite my calm, quiet heart, I am the legendary awakened by intense anger." Color Corrected Super Saiyan Son Goku

After you've been exposed to 'art' and 'expression' from those labelling themselves as 'creatives' you realise very few of them are creative at all. They fall into this predictable archetype. Similar alt-clothes, styles, hair, piercings, tattoos, interests, hobbies, beliefs. Even the art is largely superficial and unoriginal in all of its forms. Stuff you've seen before made for the sake of making something. Once you've met one of them you've met all of them

There is no such thing as "agony" in FNAF. There are two types of possessions in FNAF: Guts based stuffings, and Emotional Memory based possessions. The guts based possessions act like sheep, animals. The memory ones abide by programming and emotions but also have more agency.

I don't follow the "respect is earned" philosophy. I respect everyone automatically and then each person has the opportunity to lose my respect based on their behavior.

Hey guys, did you hear? There’s no such thing as being trapped without control as a spirit in FNAF! The MCI WANT to stand on stage 18 hours a day and William WANTS to follow sound cues in FNAF 3! It’s so simple, don’t you understand? There is no AI that controls them!

While we're at it Strong Female characters ≠ Well written Dark tones ≠ depth Suffering ≠ complex, it's useless if it does not amount to a character's growth or change Symbolism ≠ Good, it only works if it provides clarity to an already existing theme
