Is anyone on ICP interested in a reputation system to help track real vs fake users? I might have a solution for that! I'm building this for Solutio, and preliminary tests are going well. But if there's interest, I might open it up for other projects.

Nice video! And yes, we embrace fragmentation 🗽 On Solutio, users don't pledge to the projects directly, but to ideas inside the project. This means that, although users can create multiple ideas inside a project, only the ideas that gain meaningful funding will get built. This allows anyone to contribute, while making sure only the best ideas gain traction. It is community-driven ideation, making it easy for devs to know which ideas to prioritize. For now: just the product (and whatever the builders want to include as rewards to investors).
But in the next stage we want to give users ownership over the projects they invest in. Either through tokens, or through dynamically generated DAO's.
The main use case is, for example, if you use an open source wallet, and it is missing features, you can get the features you need built with the help of a community.
Works for any open source project.
In short: it is currently not a speculative app, it is a place to get the tools you need in a world where most projects ignore user feedback. Any project you see potential in and want to see more of, and need in your daily life: With our app you can get the features you need with zero coding skills.
Imagine how fast open source could grow, if users could do tiny donations as a community, for the price of a month of Netflix.

We’re about to see a new wave of crowd-based funding - one where public fundraising happens after pre-seed is raised from VCs/angels, the product is ready, and the team has already proven they can build. This isn’t like 2016–2018, when projects raised millions off a whitepaper and took 1.5–2 years to ship anything (and some didn’t ship or failed). Community-led fundraising is making a comeback and it’s a healthy correction! VCs and angels will enter at pre-seed, but they’ll also have the chance to increase their exposure during public sales, alongside retail. Pre-seed allocations unlock only after the public sale received their allocation. New ICO models will bring more innovation. Since projects will already be more mature - with working products funded by pre-seed - their utility will go live right after the public sale. This reduces regulatory risk for founders. The result: fairer distribution, stronger ecosystems, and retail won’t have to buy into overpriced TGEs with a risk to get dumped on.

@regen_earthsoul @owocki Our crowdfunding tool is for users to ask for apps, instead of just builders asking for money.
So instead of "invest in my project" it is "I'd pay $10 to have my problem solved, who's with me?"

I finished the rebuild of the reputations app 🥳
faster queries, fewer cycles, and scalable
Tomorrow I'll do some more stress tests, then build a simple UI for the community to play with.

We've hit the 50 ICP mark for the first time in a project! No fake engagement, just day by day slowly adding more users that believe in decentralized building!
