My deepest condolences to my brother, His Excellency @RotimiAkeredolu (SAN) over the passing of his beloved mother. Regardless of how old our loved ones are, we never want to lose them. I pray that God grants my brother and the rest of the family His comfort at this time.

In my remarks at the commissioning, I stated that governance will continue until the last day of our administration. And so, to facilitate the rehabilitation of inner roads in Oyo State, I approved the release of N750 million for repairs of local roads across our dear state.

Yesterday, following the recent insecurity challenges in Ogbomoso, I visited the Ministry of Public Works, Infrastructure, and Transport in Oyo State where I had a crucial meeting with the Hon. Commissioner of the Ministry, Prof Dahud Sangodoyin.

On behalf of the government and the good people of Oyo State, I congratulate the Governor-Elect, Senator @AAdeleke_01 and the people of Osun State on this victory. It's great to have a second @OfficialPDPNig flag flying in the southwest. Truly, power resides with the people.
