@SpaceVX1 keyblades were cool 100% I liked the forms better. Attractions trivialized most of the game. Kh2 the triangle interactions were better balanced and didn't show up every 5 seconds. Also enemies felt more like enemies in kh2. Kh3 felt like fighting mobs until gauntlet at end.

Its agenda pushing mainly. People just hate the game but either never played it or played it when it came out and never touched it since. Anyone who defends KH3 just gets swarmed with KH2 defenders all over the place. Add on nostalgia and its a never ending battle..

@hearthywatcher It was definitely a game that was a bit rushed, and cooking could have been better. But I'd have to say I liked the worlds and the gameplay more than KH2. I kinda became less of a fan of the drive forms and more a fan of the keyblade mastering. But it depends on playstyle mostly.

@SpaceVX1 The disney worlds in kh3 especially were badly done. Plus the dlc gatekeeping was inexcusable. There were definitely some improvements for life tho in kh3. Not as big a fan of things like cooking. Definitely felt like they slapped a lot of it together despite the 13 year gap.

@aStupidGecko I would say I personally like KH3 and KH1 better for me. I still love 2 but I also think it's got flaws which the other 2 games also have

@SpaceVX1 I will say, I dont think 2 is perfect either. Like I hate how useless party members are in 2 outside of just supporting Sora with items. And should note KH1 is my all time favorite game, despite agreeing 2 is the better game

@aStupidGecko I guess its all about perspective and the way you play, but I think 3 nailed what 2 was lacking for me. Story wise it could've been better sure. But gameplay wise I think it's better than 2 in almost every way. Boneless compared to 2 is an easy disageee for me.

@SpaceVX1 Just KH3 feels like boneless 2, after playing 3 almost a dozen times and played 2 a few times since. Like Ostaku team tried copying 2 instead of knowing why 2 was so good. Plus I feel the game is a bit too short. Like it feels like a handheld game more than the next big KH

@FireEmblemFan01 If you're disappointed by the game then that's understandable. My point is pushing full on hate for the game regardless of new updates and stuff coming out, and you didn't even try it. (Not saying this is you.)

@SpaceVX1 I don’t hate the game, but I definitely think 2 is still better. I’ve played kh3 about 9 times. and replayed 2 about 3 times since 3 came out. KH3 just feels like boneless kh2. and this is coming for someone who liked 3 on release.

@Avid_NHL_Fan Never said that it was. If you don't want to play again, then you don't want to play again. But I believe its a little disingenuous to push full on hate onto a game that you haven't played in years (with it coming out with updates and new dlc), and not giving a second shot at it

@hearthywatcher If its about the story then I can agree, the pacing wasn't the best compared to the other 2 titles. But the quality of life changes gameplay wise I would argue is better imo

@SpaceVX1 I think kh3 since it was a mainline kh was the final nail in a lot of kh fans copium that square wasn't going downhill after the merger They could justify diminished quality after bbs as those are spinoffs rather than the last of square softs quality/sensability ending under enix

@SawadaT56973562 Adding on FM to KH2 didn't make it easier either. People always compare 2 to the FINAL MIX version not the original 😭

Most people who criticize KH3 are held hostage by nostalgia; they are stuck in the past and haven't evolved along with the franchise.
