@unusual_whales We need universal basic income and it needs to be implemented as a dividend such that as stocks grow, so does the UBI. The way I like to accomplish this is for all companies to issue some % of new stock every year into a national fund—a shared growth contribution UBI model.

I just heard reports that Trump plans to rip out the Kennedy Center’s iconic red carpet— which taxpayers paid to replace just two years ago! This would further erode the timeless imagery and history of the Kennedy Center, and waste taxpayer dollars to do it.
As the lead Dem appropriator on the Interior subcommittee, I’ll work to conduct oversight and preserve the original design.

Yes, the GOP controls Congress. That's why it's key to show Congress COULD stop the madness. And it's not just the DHS bill. Congress could repeal the prior multi-year $75b for DHS; set up a special investigative committee (cf. Watergate); amend the Insurrection Act; etc.
