BL as a label is important for representation but it doesn’t mean the story has to be limited by it. queer romance should be treated normally like any romance films of straight people and can exist in any genre such as action, thriller, horror, anything. at the end of the day love is love so treating it like it always has to stay in a separate box kind of goes against that idea.
