DC comics published in the early 70s. Superman was really dominant. Big names such as Green Lantern, flash and Batman were only getting 8 issues per year. What a change compared to now

Its just too big of a question to get a simple answer. Because it really is a case by case basis and having any kind of hard and fast rule will just lead to something not making sense

100 years after the destruction, a small expedition ventured to the island, desperate to see if anything survived the bombing.

The island was named as such as it was populated with statues of the Ancient Greek people of the same name.
