@ThomasDecru Dit stond in de sterren geschreven. Haar ouders moesten kiezen tussen een ijskast of vakantie. De ijskast hebben ze al, nu nog de gratis vakantie. Gelukkig moesten ze niet kiezen tussen een auto en een 30 m zeilboot.

Heb ik iets gemist? Sinds wanneer is vakantie geen luxe meer maar een recht waarin de overheid moet voorzien?

Beperking werkloosheid. Verstrenging asielbeleid. Belastingdruk daalt. Focus op kernenergie. Max op cumul van sociale voordelen. Investeren in defensie. Flexibilisering arbeidsmarkt. Dit akkoord is ongetwijfeld niet perfect, maar hier worden heilige huisjes gesloopt. Eindelijk.

@dhh Safari needs to become autoupdated and Firefox needs to be opted more to make the web healthier. But thankfully chromium can be de-googled and used in other browsers. So in the end if this is the only rendering engine it can actually be beneficial for quicker standards adoption.

I know Safari is often dogged by web devs as being "the new IE", and the lack of evergreen updating (especially on older devices) is a real bummer, but we should celebrate that the web isn't a one-browser race. Firefox is a shadow of its former self. Safari keeps Chrome honest.

The more I read about the Xiaomi SU7 the more I realize that it's a revolution in the market. I think Tesla will struggle wherever the SU7 will be released.

@rubenv It has a nice plugin system where there's even a fuzzy file finder. Or a tiny CI system. It's like tmux but rebuilt for a better UX and better extensibility. And it is pretty easy to learn.

Used zellij.dev and it instantly feels better to use than tmux. Ease of use is so important and this tool does a very good job at it. Great job 👍

@rubenv I don't think there's harm in giving it a shot? :) But you can have floating hideable windows. You can set up layouts where panes are bound to commands. The exit codes are shown super clearly. Pressing enter in a pane reruns the command. Handy if there's no watch option.

Touchscreen input was the next step in device evolution. Looking and tapping your fingers together isn’t.

I do believe in AR but I do not believe people will have screens attached to their faces in their daily life. Even if it’s just the size of glasses. Even if the passthrough and contrast ratio is perfect. Unless there’s a really fast private way to control it. Like mind control.

Let’s see if this tweet will age well. I think the current Vision Pro input system will not last. Nobody wants to look at something and then tap their fingers together to confirm. It’s flawed at the core.
