@HMRCpressoffice @CommonsPAC Would love to know how that 80% customer satisfaction figure is arrived at. I’ve spend over four hours this week trying to talk to an adviser with no success. And I know I’m not the only one.

@CommonsPAC 4/4 Customer satisfaction is consistently around 80%, and we continue to work to increase this figure. Our digital offer has improved considerably meaning customers can quickly and easily sort out more of their tax affairs online via their Personal Tax Account or the HMRC App.

There is some media reporting today on @CommonsPAC's latest report. HMRC collected a record sum for the UK's public services last year and we're adding another 2,500 people to our compliance teams to further step up our ability to ensure everyone pays what is due. 1/4
