Some peer group competition for my @LshipSkillsFdn sports leaders instead of our football academy. Planned in the morning played in a lovely atmosphere this afternoon.

Look what has appeared in the school. Amazing work Miss Farnworth and her Thursday STEM group, helped by her brilliant staff.

@LshipSkillsFdn Thursday group splitting into different tasks this morning. Kian and Luca planned the afternoon activities the others completed work on their LER and then they played a simple game looking at how to adapt. Afternoon saw our academy players joining us.

Having been given the game by the school from Cardiff we decided to take more players and have our own game at the home of @NewtownAFC what a great experience for all the players.

Delighted with the news that we have, for the third year, been granted Centre of Excellence Status by the @LshipSkillsFdn one of only 37 across their 2500+ centres. We are so proud of our sports leaders and the work they do in school and the wider community.

Our @TerryFoxCanada @TerryFoxRunWxm @TerryFoxRunUK challenge began this week. Our @LshipSkillsFdn team and partners have a huge task this year and it will be our event for the duration of this years course. Completing nearly 9000 km from STC to Thunder Bay.

Jenga tower challenge for our Friday group @LshipSkillsFdn sports leaders. They decided the skills they had developed were communication, determination, problem solving, teamwork and patience. Sunny holds the record of 12 high and his cheat tower(using the door) 22, great effort.

Amazing week for our @LshipSkillsFdn sports leaders delivering to our own football academy and local junior school partners. Well done L2 and 3 great mentoring to our new L1 students.
