St. Joe students staged the Black History Month program today themed “Harlem Renaissance.” The program highlighted singers, artists, poets, musicians from Harlem in the 1920s and 1930s. The era celebrated Black life and resilience. St. Joe did the same thing. #NotYourAverageJoe

The St. Joseph Catholic School community -- students, teachers, staff and some parents -- marked the beginning of the Lenten season today with Ash Wednesday Mass led by Fr. Joe Tonos in the Fine Arts theater .

St. Joe eighth grade religion students became authors and illustrators, creating children’s books about the four medieval religious orders. They visited St. Anthony Catholic School today, reading the books they wrote and illustrated to the younger students. #NotYourAverageJoe
