Brick Memorial got on the board in the third inning after Nalducci singled, scoring one run. Carly Hobbs, Nalducci, and Emma Naples each collected one hit for the Mustangs. Gabrielle Vida and Nalducci were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in one run for Memorial.

Emma Naples provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Brick Memorial with two runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-2 on the day. Carly Hobbs went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead Brick Memorial in hits. Nalducci stole two bases.

Emma Kriegstein stepped in the circle first for Matawan Huskies. The starting pitcher allowed eight hits and three runs (two earned) over seven innings, striking out eight and walking two.
