Illuminating answer (that matches what I am hearing from others) about why AIs don’t come with release notes: no one knows well what new models are capable of doing well or badly in advance. It is why it is so important to test on your own use cases. Don’t just listen to others.
Ted Sanders@sandersted

@emollick in our partial defense, training these models can be more discovery than invention. often we don't exactly know what will come out. we've long wanted to do release notes that describe each model's differences, but we also don't want to give false confidence with a shallow story.

Instruction: Differentiate, differentiate, DIFFERENTIATE! Assessment: Standardized, standardized, STANDARDIZED! We work incredibly hard to ensure we meet students where they are on a daily basis. Our assessment and evaluation should do the same. #CodeBreaker

If possible, ask kids what they want feedback on before providing any. It's honestly a game-changer for the feedback. Make it simple. My students often just leave a comment on their work with one thing to celebrate and one question for me. It changes the dynamic completely.

I have a 7ft kid who wants to play golf for us here at Kell High School. I don't have too many followers here and know that this is going to be difficult. Can y'all retweet this so I might be able to help the kid out?! Thanks!
