A few of you may have wondered why you havn't seen Frankie Smith on the cricket pitch recently. Sadly he's very unwell in hospital needing heart valve surgery. We are naturally very worried about our oldest and longest serving club member & are praying for a speedy recovery

A historic game this weekend for us as we play @EarlShiltonTown 1sts at theirs, nobody can remember the last time if ever both 1st teams met, which is weird considering only a few miles separate us! coming in 2 wins in a row and a full team, should make a great game!

New year, new league! Stapleton has it's 1st promotion since 1994, We will also be having our 1st ground day of the pre-season next saturday, plenty to do! Indoor nets will begin at Earl Shilton college on 2nd March if anybody is looking for a new club come along

Our game today is called off due to rain, which means we finish 3rd, and our buddies/rivals Barwell 3rds are promoted. congrats!

A great win yesterday scoring our biggest run chase in recent memory, Dan Evans with 127 not out and John Morley with 59 not out, just 15 points needed to secure 3rd place.
