@StarTrekLife I had the pleasure of meeting her at a Star Trek convention in Chicago, she was very nice.

Though she’s no longer with us, we recognize Arlene Martel, born April 14, 1936. Known to Trek fans as T'Pring (aka almost Mrs. Spock), she starred in the #TOS season 2 opener, “Amok Time.” “Parted from me & never parted...”

God bless my co-worker who died this week. I didn't know her very well, but we usually arrived at work about the same time, so we shared the break room mirror when we were getting ready for the workday. I used to re-fill the water cooler for her when it was empty. RIP Shannah.
