Went and watched Superman solo this afternoon. No spoilers but it’s a feel good movie - it won’t blow your socks off, but it sets up the world nicely for the start of a full universe reboot. There were more emotional bits than I expected, Nicholas Hault was a stand out as Lex ☺️

Barely into Alan Wake 2 and I’ve already seen the signs from the Federal Bureau of Control - love @remedygames universe (multiverse? Dimensional work? 🤷‍♂️)

This is my life now apparently - I get back from my workout at the gym. Make a coffee, crack open my code, and listen to @StinkyDragonPod (so happy my daughter recommended it to me, loving it!)

Rest day from the gym - thought I'd get a little more of my side project done. And don't you just know it - now the complicated technical challenge is complete and it does what I want...the desire to finish it has entirely disappeared. Dammit! 🤦

New PT has set calorie and protein goals. I have killer workouts ahead that are gonna destroy me but are incredibly focused on rebuilding my hamstring - which I’m excited for. I’ve been in such a slump over this injury that I’m looking forward to having someone push me again🤞💪

Fresh sheets, fresh coffee, a D&D podcast in my ears and my hands on a laptop. I could definitely have worse evenings

I feel if a spam email subject line starts “it’s a deal, it’s a steal…” then it has to finish with “it’s the sale of the fucking century” and anything else isn’t worth the effort

Just got a spam email asking if I wanted some top tier developers for Experian Consumer Services - not worked there for years my dude, use a different data breach 🤦‍♂️

Sometimes I cheer myself up by thinking of tech architecture approaches being applied to traditional architecture Sure we could build a path around the building, but that seems like a lot of effort....what if we just blew up the building and walked over the rubble? WAY faster!

Updating my CV and I'd forgotten how much I hate trying to write down what I do for a living - like look, my guy, they keep paying me for being a weird half jerk half nerd thingy - do we really need to go into details? I'm half a sentence away from saying "increased synergy" 😬

It’s 11pm, I have to be up in 6hrs. I was supposed to go to bed a couple of hours ago to make sure I rested - but my daughter convinced me we needed to play some more Sabbac in Star Wars Outlaws. We’re gonna need a lot of coffee tomorrow 😂🤷‍♂️

After a week off I’m at the “what it is I do for work again?” Phase. I’ve checked my inbox but that’s not made me any less confused 😂

I’ve been playing Watch Dogs: Legion again - forgotten how much I enjoyed it! But did it always have Assassins Creed missions or were they added in as an update?! 😁

Don’t pop on here often any more. I shall be spending far too much of today wishing I was outside instead of at the office 😇
