It's #NationalEmbroideryMonth So we're taking it back to one of our Millenium Tapestries, the beautiful and ornate craft work on the Roque Map. Highlighting the wonderful Kantha stitches that adorn the whole piece in close up, and a sense of the scale of the whole piece.

It's #ValentinesDay AND #NationalEmbroideryMonth! So we've handmade our message for today 💌 We ❤️ all of you! Our staff, class attendees, volunteers, supporters, trustees, funders and followers! Embroidery adapted from @sewyeah pattern. Threads donated from @embellishedtalk

Really pleased to be able to take a group of our English for Sewing class attendees to the British Museum last week. We really enjoyed exploring the Islamic World exhibits. Our classes researched items on display before coming along. Everyone looks forward to going again.

Whilst doing some DIY work in our studio recently it gave some staff members the opportunity to learn how to use a drill - their first time! They say it's definitely wet their appetite! #skillsharing #tryingsomethingnew
