So there’s all kinds of different Godzilla films, ranging from silly, to borderline capeshit, to serious tone The other two I recommended, Minus and Shin I’m sure you’ll like if you prefer a serious story. Minus one is about survivors guilt and takes place during and after WWII. It’s a masterclass in storytelling imo Shin is about bureaucratic paralysis in the face of disaster, this version of Godzilla in particular is a creature forced to exist due to humanity’s mistakes. Shin was directed by Hideaki Anno, I’m sure you’ll recognize it from the storytelling and music instantly

@Strittposter I liked the original movie quite a lot but I heard the others were different which has deterred me from watching them. The other ones look less serious to me. Should I look into them anyway?

Backrooms is literally the only movie I’m looking forward to for the foreseeable future other than the upcoming Madoka one. After that it’s over. Nothing else deserves my attention. So I’ll hype myself up about this one and then be done with it.

@DontCryMaria I love when VNs do that, I played Emio a few months ago and it had beautifully rendered backgrounds. Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright has a great soundtrack, same with Digimon Survive
