@austindaldridge @Joshmedina08 @zandermercury I think you’re missing the point. Corey Davis was a good player, just not worth a Top 5 pick. Tate will probably have a productive career as a good WR2, which isn’t worth the #4 pick.

@titansvolsfan22 @BowmanTalksNFL I get that, but RB’s are also a lot easier to come by than elite pass rushers. If the Titans don’t think any of these guys are elite pass rushers, then sure, take Love, but if they do, you have to take the pass rusher

@StroTitans @BowmanTalksNFL Doing more with less means nothing if the ball is going through your receivers hands or your center gets pushed into your lap. Love will take pressure off of Ward and a great run game compliments a defense very well.

Just playing devils advocate. The flip side to that is Ward is the type that can do more with less. There will still be really good offensive weapons available in round 2. Look what the Texans D was able to do this year. Get Saleh his guys to have an elite defense and the team becomes instantly competitive.

The great thing about this years draft is that there are several outcomes that I’d be happy with. Last year it was Ward or bust. This year I’d be happy with Love, Bain, Reese, Styles, or a trade down.

I would be ecstatic to get Love, but at this point Defense will probably be the strength of this team and Cam is the type of QB who can do more with less. Pollard isn’t top tier, but he’s adequate and as long as Spears stays healthy they have a decent RB room and don’t necessarily need to add a RB. Plus they can always add another offensive weapon at the top of round 2

💯!!! Cam NEEDS weapons and TALENT around him. Cam is QB1 but we can’t ask him to elevate a bunch of nobody’s. He’s young and still growing and learning.. make life as easy on Cam as you can!!! Draft LOVE

@LJ001_ @TitansMan97 Nailed it. IF, and that’s a big IF, they have one of the Edge’s ranked as actually being worthy of #4 then you take him. If not, Love is a no brainer.

@TitansMan97 It all depends on how the #Titans have the edges ranked and if their preferred choice is available at 4. I do think we need to do more to help Cam and if this guy gets a little space, he’s taking it to the house. Also helps create space for WRs. #TitanUp

Once you stop locking yourself into “position value” type thinking and understand the “IMPACT value” a player like J. Love has, it’s easy to see he’s the best pick for the Titans at 4.
