@SugarVortex I… don’t know where I’d be either. That’s a bit of a scary thought… Honestly? I was scared when Azusa charged into the crisis. But I was more scared about a world without someone I care for… and that led me to follow her in. Is that a bit cheesy? Maybe, but I don’t mind.

i do think things can change. probably. just that it’s always going to be an uphill battle with the chips constantly stacked against you. that’s by design. the status quo is a bitch, and preservation becomes the first priority of anyone with power over anything helpful.

so it kiiinda pissed me off seeing how the only people who were supposedly “on my side” were the ones who wanted to use me as a secret weapon against gehenna, then turned right back on me when i told them i didn’t feel like it anymore. what a bunch of spineless bottom feeders.

would it have made me happy to have won and eradicate gehenna ? i dunno. probably. … actually, nah. i don’t think so. if i was gonna do that, it should be with a clear head. and honestly ? it’s just not worth it. sure, i can’t stand them, but it was just a convenient excuse.

y’know what’s fucked up ? i probably would’ve gotten away with everything if i had simply committed to what i was doing. hanako was right — i could have very easily stomped out her and all her friends if i had been even a little bit serious. if i had wanted to win. but i didn’t.

@PEROROFANATIC the world is a cruel place. even when you truly believe things can change, people won’t hesitate to kick you in the teeth just to remind you how grueling of a task it’ll always be to make that happen.
