@goes_by_kim @sciam Those of us sick with ME/CFS prior to the Pandemic knew COVID would bring a new wave of ME patients. We hope(d) Long Covid - a big portion of which turns into ME/CFS - would bring needed attention to long-neglected patients who are often left to doctor themselves without support.

@goes_by_kim @sciam I appreciate this coverage, yet wonder why ME/CFS is not mentioned yet again. Stephanie Grach (Mayo) is an ME/CFS specialist. The symptoms she and the article describe are core to ME - an illness long ignored and stigmatized in medicine and media. Please don't leave ME ppl behind

@goes_by_kim @sciam Those of us with ME/CFS often can't get help even from doctors - who usually don't know what ME/CFS is or don't believe us - and insurance almost never covers any treatment that reduces our disability. ME is one of the most diabling illnesses and weirdly the least funded.

Here are the books challenged at Samuels Public Library by a local group. They submitted nearly 600 reconsideration forms & got 75% of library funds blocked. Many others are fighting for their library and kids. I learned of this from the parent of a trans child there.
