Sixty-three years ago today, Rose Canyon Lake was stocked with 1600 trout for "eager anglers" the day before its first opening on Memorial Day Weekend in 1960. Arizona Game and Fish Department continues to stock the lake. Current stocking schedule: live-azgfd-main.pantheonsite.io/.../fish.../
