@shaftmastr @HEE_Hellsweep @Agentsmithmed Ok you have to be joking because clearly the game says "PUNISH" instead of "COUNTER" meaning the ws2 active frames have ended.
English

@HEE_Hellsweep @Agentsmithmed slow the clip down and actually watch it

Good morning @SweetFire__tk how do you bare listen to Steve’s voice for 2 years so far?
Best regards,
Nulow

Can someone explain to me how she can block here? Appreciate the help.

@kushan019 @poultriarch Df2 on ch into duck 2 but add 70% scaling so it's a weaker combo is actually a dream (but that wall combo still doing that dmg hehehe)
English

@Warning_I_Spam_ What's your go to method on p2? I can get this on p1 easily with 1 handed socd but on p2 it's tricky.... You know without using an extra ⬅️ button which even tho allowed in tournaments is cheating imo
English

@kushan019 @BlackoutzUlt Inironically might be easier on Japanese lever....I play on Knee lever Neo. Practice every single day and still can't hit it. Then i go on my C16 Haute and get like 5 in a row. (Stick player for 7 years Leverless started 1 month ago) The difference for periphals is too much🤔
English

@SweetFire__tk @BlackoutzUlt I play on japanese lever and I can land it at an 85% success rate. It's still way too hard for online or competitive play though.

Just reached GoD 1 with Steve:
It wasn't as hard as I expected. I didn't have to use heat all that much.
WS 1 out of FLK and PAB is compulsory.
Left Weave is too safe and has more explosive utility. Use it to its fullest potential. I know there's a lot of Right Weave propaganda out there, but left weave is just better in a lot of ways.
I think playing him in a super disciplined way is more fun and rewarding than playing him in a T8 kinda way.
DF2 CH and its follow ups are interesting to me. But he needs Shiro. There's nothing like it.
DB32 loops at the wall are fun. Definitely feels better than the Lionheart mix.
B1+2 is a really good move on its own. You can just use it whenever. I didn't have to use raw sonic fang at all.
Heat smash sucks and I try to avoid using it as much as possible. I'm 99.9999% sure he is getting Dempsey roll/rage drive 1 in S3.
I hate using PAB 2 and DCK f2. It's too risky and I don't care about being +5 into Lionheart.
If you don't think about tournaments (FT2 in pools especially), this character might be in the top 10. Top 5 if we are talking about long sets. Top 1 if DF2 CH launched.
He doesn't have a wall splatting heat smash or an overpowered 50/50 but he is pretty strong.
In long sets, a lot of the supposed top 10 don't work that well against a decent Steve player. Steve just ages well as the set goes on. As long as you know the match up.
Also, the heat throws are basically daylight robberies lmao. If Steve's back is against the wall, do not get clinched ever.

@kushan019 @BlackoutzUlt Yh... It doesn't help that this is basically only really "viable" with leverless and pretty much impossible with Stick
English

It's still launch punishable at -15. The risk is either between -14 DCK 2 or -15 FC DF2. If you practice this long enough you will basically get the former more than the latter as a misinput because it's easier to time it earlier than late.
With a good Steve player, it's at worst a -14 situation.
English

@GuileWinQuote KBD from Tekken is a good example of this.... Hard asf to master on Stick and Pad... Literally easy asf, cleaner, faster and better ergonomics on Leverless using SOCD. While not intentional the nerfing of the KBD in general helps to keep every Controller Peripheral viable.... IMO
English

@GuileWinQuote Used to...IMO these new peripherals make these execution heavy stuff alot less hard. Game balance already does get adjusted by most FGs. Its like you have an instawin button that is REALLY hard to do but you get a tool that'll do it lot easier. Makes the Button lot less justified
English

@RuysberghWim @tekken_masterbh @Harada_TEKKEN @nkt_dreamer Can't believe these guys fell for the ragebait LMFAO... The only actual exception is Steve d2,1
English

@tekken_masterbh @Harada_TEKKEN @nkt_dreamer Meanwhile Anna can punish all of those with full crouch D/F+2, such a broken character!
English

One thing i wanted to talk about in Tekken8 is lows being safe on block , it is already considered risky to duck in this game but when you finally read a low and block it and not get rewarded for it is VERY frustrating tbh .

English

@Ruenaan ok tell me you know nothing about how wake-up system works without telling me you don't know how it works...
even if you "get hit while getting up" it still counts as "hitting grounded" since they are considered grounded for the entire time getting up as well
English

@SweetFire__tk It was not grounded, he had gotten up at the last second of the missle hitting him. It's like when fighting Brian, He just got up wrong. You gotta tech roll
English

@IchBinGhost omg you slayed King. You dropped this btw👑👑
English

I have no idea what you´re talking about
Fury aka Fiery 🔥@IAmFury_tk
99% of every Tekken 8 video posted is just someone doing stance into 50/50 for a combo to win
