Wow you proved me wrong I said you'd tout Chourio and trash PCA in the same sentence and you used two. The wrc career difference is because PCA got off to a much worse start again go look at Savant profiles they are almost exactly the same for 2025 and 2026. I think Chourio is a good player with a chance to be great and never trashed him at all thanks for proving my entire point.

We are 59 games into the MLB season. And I think if you asked the average fan about PCA… Most of them would say he “can’t hit”… and is an “overrated defender”

I don't see too much change really on graded card pricing other than buyer panic induced stuff. The flow of graded cards isn't changing they are still going to be putting out 90-100k per day. It will affect newer released products somewhat after the shutdown on Tuesday but the bigger cards from those will just be graded at the regular/express rate and the others wouldn't have hit market for a long time anyways. Submitting day one on reopen will essentially be like submitting on June 3rd. I think low/mid end raw cards will take the biggest hit and higher end stuff like case hits etc that justify the higher grading fee will go up.

The PSA pause is gonna be interesting for sure. Reached out to two regular buyers—one dealer, one repacker—who buy a TON from me with cards I have in hand. Both are pausing their buying for a bit to what happens to the market before grabbing more.

@Renegade_Joey There's still going to be as many or more slabs entering the market daily. They aren't shutting down production. It's unlikely slab prices change much with a few exceptions of the product released after the June cutoff.

With PSA stopping value grading, every PSA 9 copy should be $100 more than a raw copy. Stop selling PSA 9s and giving dog shit vendors the raw price even though you paid to have it graded and now costs more to grade! Thanks!

@tm1515152005 Not really much change. I've recently submitted at both bulk and value max. If I submit when they reopen I shouldn't see a huge gap in subs returning to me. I may target a few more higher value cards to submit now but mostly just stock up to have some to submit when open.

How will this impact your spending habits on cards this summer ?

@BosCardHunter @SweetTradeCards There's no way to tell if there was an actual effect until months from now, but regardless, PSA shutting down and also addressing things just feels right from all the attention BCH has been bringing to light, plus it's good conversations/commentary.

CGC, Tag and PSA have all now altered turnaround times within days of each other 🤔

@Jschro1988 @KabutoKing_ Yeah I think there will be some panic buy but the repackers which control much of the liquidity of the market will not be starved since they mostly buy directly from PSA through offers. I think it will hurt raw sales especially of low end stuff.

@SweetTradeCards @KabutoKing_ I agree with your first statement, but I have seen so many social media posts and videos saying it is going to explode the prices that it probably will explode prices for no actual reason other than people seeing posts like this guys and panic buying lol.

PSA slabs will explode in value this summer. Think of all the mystery slab pack companies who need endless supply of graded cards every month. This will be wild. Demand is endless.

@DingoSaylor In the past their volume and capacity was just bad enough to change the minimum send for value subs and increase prices, not halt those entirely like today

PSA never had to do this when we were experiencing the 2021 boom and the “Logan Paul” era. This should tell you everything about where we’re at right now.

@PokeLootCards Theres always a chance but that's a pretty obvious one If the trader sees it there's no way it's a 10 and any grader should see that. Surface scratches like that are the reason gold cards are so hard to grade.

Would this mess any chance of the card being a 10 i’m guessing yes but they might let it slide knowing psa.
