Yesterday I had the honour to present my PhD research at the Houses of parliament and am incredibly proud to have been awarded the silver medal in Engineering. Thank you to all the organisers who made it such a great event @STEM4Brit @ParlSciCom @RAEngNews

I wish the media would stop propagating terribly summarised scientific research. Vegan food was less varied/available at the time of the study (1993 - 2001) and can lead to calcium/vitamin deficiencies. Healthy, well-balanced vegan/veggie diets DO NOT lead to broken bones.
