My suggestion to NBA execs: if a fan has purchased a ticket from a marketplace directly affiliated with the team, the customer may opt in to an automated injury report notification texted to them the morning of the game.
Not everyone is in the day-to-day grind of monitoring volatile NBA injury reports, and this would be a simple/zero clicks required way to educate them.
This will also give attendees ample opportunity to change plans/tell their kids/manage expectations with clients/transfer or sell their tickets, so nobody feels like they've been rug-pulled when they get to the arena.
Will there still be game time decisions and uncertain statuses? Sure, but at least the customer can prepare for multiple outcomes and make a choice whether they feel the risk is worth it.
➡️It's an added benefit to buying tickets directly from the teams, and not using unregulated secondary markets.
➡️It can be automated
➡️It requires no action other than checking a box during checkout.
No-brainer.

Jalen Brunson has been downgraded to DOUBTFUL tonight vs Pacers - "right ankle injury management / cervical strain right side" And Mitchell Robinson has been added to Knicks injury report as QUESTIONABLE - “thoracic spine muscle tightness”
