#Tarkov@tarkov@nikgeneburn You guys forgot to wipe long duration offers from the flea market again! Loads and more loads of super valuable items are now being injected into the early wipe economy
@tarkov@nikgeneburn YOU GUYS FORGOT TO WIPE THE FLEA MARKET AGAIN! HOW DO YOU MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES TWICE?
There are now dozens of thousands of bitcoins, marked keys, lab keycards and other items at the verge of flooding the econoomy of the game.
@nikgeneburn@nikgeneburn, BSG forgot to wipe long duration flea offers on the last wipe, allowing people to bring their items from one wipe to another. People are now hoping you will do the same mistakes again. Please be mindful of this exploit, it could potentially ruin the 1.0 experience
@tarkov If that trailer is hinting at us having to continuously meet traders inside raids to complete quests or buy gear, you've completely lost your mind.
November 15th - Release of Escape from Tarkov 1.0
Everything changed on the day the Blue Fire erupted. Tarkov fell, but survived—unfallen. Over time, the fates of many intertwined, weaving a new reality and establishing a new order. How long it will endure is for you to decide.

@5nowy_1@nikgeneburn Do I tell him? I'll tell him. All maps except GZero will be locked at the beginning until we unlock them by completing new quests available in 1.0. How difficult and time-consuming that will be is yet to be seen, so you may not even be able to go to Streets on the 15th.
@MedallionOW@Godfrey_Sov@tarkov Oh, no, I can't use my pay-to-win Gamma container anymore to hold a full Grizzly medkit in it so I can have infinite heals in raid while still having spare room for more loot.
Just imagine the horror of losing your loot while playing an extraction shooter game!
@tarkovarena Remove this shit item from Tarkov. Even fucking Arena Breakout Infinite respects their players more than you do when they removed most of the pay-to-win in their game while you are here making Tarkov more and more pay-to-win with those exclusive Arena items
● Initial configuration of Peltor TEP-300 tactical ear plug has been completed to create a unique sound profile. Future updates will also include an additional tweaking to take into account the equipment being worn;
The installation of #TarkovArena patch has begun.
The installation will take approximately 2 hours, but may be extended if required. The game will not be accessible during this period.
@re3mr Lighthouse's "Southern Road" is in the North in that map, so it's not really an issue with the community getting it wrong but actually completely inconsistent game design for every aspect of the game which has been going for years at this point.
Right now the in-game compass & a majority of the community made maps do not align. I am still not sure why that is & if it's gonna stay that way but this world map would be somewhat accurate to the degrees the compass gives us right now. #EscapefromTarkov
@nikgeneburn@laurmilamuse It's the smart thing to do. I bought Tarkov a long time ago, but now it locks me in the "Other" region which means there's zero chance I'll ever buy something else in the store. If I could change my region to LATAM, however, I would be way more likely to buy more stuff.
@Trey24k It's wild that some free-to-play "Temu Tarkov" clone developed by a Chinese studio listened to the western audience and removed most of the p2w in it, yet Tarkov charges a minimum of $50 and is now filled to the brim with p2w, from special editions to extra stash space to Arena.
@tarkov Too bad that half of the reusable tools in the game won't go inside the toolbox because your devs implemented it in the laziest way possible. Also, what's even the point of that toolbox when it doesn't automatically collect our tools after crafting ends?
Players are now able to link their Discord and Battlestate Games accounts in the BSG Account Center: profile.tarkov.com/profile/accoun…
In the current iteration, players have access to the following tools:
● Ability to register and log in to the official project websites through the AC;
● Ability to link an account to a Discord profile and check the link status.
All users who link their Discord account will receive an in-game reward in #EscapefromTarkov.
In future iterations, users will have broader interaction with official Battlestate Games Discord servers, as well as a number of unique features, which will be announced separately.
@nooby_saibutt@bufanda_tl@swickuwu@tarkov Because generating Steam keys to existing players has no cost - and that's a fact. Also because 99% of players will not buy the game twice just because it's on Steam, so what BSG really stands to gain by not giving us the convenience of playing the game on a better platform?
@Syncrot@bufanda_tl@swickuwu@tarkov I hate to burst your bubble but how does that make someone a fanboy for not being delusional to think they were giving the game away for free to anyone who already owns it. You already own it btw
Tomorrow, October 20, at 8:00 AM BST / 3:00 AM EDT we plan to perform maintenance works on the Battlestate Games Account Center.
The maintenance will take approximately 2 hours, but may be extended if required. During this time the Battlestate Games Account Center, will be unavailable.

@tarkovarena Why are people allowed to get a bunch of rewards from the Arena battlepass and then transfer those to Tarkov when 1.0 launches? Their inventories may get wiped, but not any unclaimed rewards, and there are many of those, including high level armor and combat masks.
BattlePass Season 1: 70+ rewards including Radian Model 1, unique active headsets, Ref’s Drop, Lega medals and many other rewards. As well as the Tactical Customs map with 30+ unique rewards including Announcer's voiceover by Nikita Buyanov.

@Rolandbakker90@nikgeneburn Not necessarily. The idea is to put a hard cap on how far cheaters can manipulate things so it's all a matter of adjusting a high detection threshold that is clearly unachievable by any human. Cheaters would still cheat, but the damage they cause would be reduced.
@Syncrot@nikgeneburn Having a server-side stats trained AI model can reach 95% accuracy. The problem is the last 5% are still thousands of legit players. So banning still needs manual approving, but you can use AI to send ghost data to these users to screw with their cheat software
@tarkov How about you unban the falsely accused accounts that got banned for no reason. You’re going to end up getting sued or something, the amount of people that has this issue and the support team ignores it or either just don’t give a fuck. Yall taking money without explanations.
@bufanda_tl@swickuwu@tarkov Don't be a fanboy. Steam provides a lot of advantages, like the absence of payment fees on your purchases, much faster download rates and installation for the game, and Steam Workshop in case BSG delivers on their promise of adding mod support for Tarkov.
@nikgeneburn Fair enough, but I don't believe BSG is tracking enough stats when some cheaters can get to over 100 KD/ratio without getting banned. We need literal hundreds of different stats to be tracked other than basic stuff like position over time.
@nikgeneburn Having 8+ maps generating boss loot is excessive, even with nerfed gear. Why not just make one map always spawn the boss, cycling each hour? Aside from that reducing the amount of loot, it creates more competition because players won't split themselves between multiple maps
on release, boss chances will be around 75% and their loot/gear will be nerfed for the sake of early game. Then their typical loot will be slowly returned back. Ok?
