I remember having the dream of playing professional baseball. People thought I was crazy. They'd say I wasn't big enough, fast enough, or good enough to make it. I had one of my 8th grade teachers & my college strength coach tell me it was a pipe dream & I needed to be more realistic. I actually remember looking at both of them & thanking them. They were baffled, laughed, & called me "cocky." Fast forward a few years & that too small, too slow, too whatever kid heard his name called in the MLB draft. What a moment. Never quit, guys. After baseball, when I wanted to start my own facility, work with players, & change some lives, people called me crazy. Former teammates, friends, & some family said it would never work. They said I would lose everything. People wouldn't come. It's very rare to be successful in this industry. Blah blah blah. Now we are embarking on our 9 year anniversary at B2 this May. We have changed so many lives & our lives have changed for the better as well. B2 has a heartbeat of its own. I'm proud to say it's taken blood, sweat, & tears. It's taken relentless work. Everything at our facility has been built or put up by us. We have done this without any donors or big money sponsors. We have done it with hours upon hours building the dream from the ground up with our staff, family, friends, & players. Moral of the story. Be crazy. Don't be realistic. Dream big. The sky is the limit with unwavering work ethic, belief, love, support, integrity, honesty, & faith. Don't let anyone tell you any different! Chase your dreams with a fire that no one can put out! 🙌🏻
