In the 5m timeframe, we want to see displacement away from the hourly FVG. This is shown by price using bearish FVGs if the hourly context is bearish. We then set our stop at the nearest swing point wick or body depending on your preference. For our target, we just target 2R.

In the 1H timeframe, we want to see either a bullish or bearish order flow holding. In this case, the order flow is bearish so we look for a bearish IRL → ERL context. High-probability trades show when you trade with the trend so we just wait for price to retrace to the 1h FVG

The answer is timeframe alignment. For now, we will focus only on intraday trades using the 1H and 5m timeframe. First, you must understand that price is fractal and that means that whatever is happening in the higher timeframe also happens in the lower timeframe.

So far, we know that price either offers fair value or seeks liquidity. We know we can use fair value gaps and swing points as levels to trade. So how do we actually trade them?
