For those struggling with the concept of stair carpets, I come from Basildon. The estates of that Council. Not one house. Not one single house I ever entered did not have a stair carpet. Call it cultural. I have that one. Back ye off.

Our cat destroyed DESTROYED our once beautiful stair carpet. Result? We’ve got a truly shitty stair carpet and a brilliant, beloved old cat.
Conclusion? We’re not getting another stair carpet while our cat endures.
