Good evening! Here at LF8 and Full Gambit we are trying to help the tier 3 scene by bringing another amazing tournament to look forward to. We take accountability for our misstep in announcing Full Gambit 3. We are new to the scene and are still learning, and this is a learning moment for us. Transparency is a core value for us, and we want to ensure that you are fully informed. Therefore, we will provide a detailed breakdown of what happened. We were in the process of finishing our liquipidea page and were working to reach out to VLR about coverage. We had talked to a source who was successful in the past with getting on VLR, and that this was what they did when advertising their event. With there being no preapproval for tournaments with VLR we sent out the tweet. We are now communicating with VLR to see what we need to do moving forward. We have tried to talk with VLR in the past about getting the other Full Gambits on VLR, but there was never a clear answer on how to get coverage from VLR. As a new TO and fairly new to running tournaments, this is incredibly stressful. We continued to host them anyway. We are still hosting this tournament and future tournaments. We have always paid out, and we have always worked our hardest to bring an amazing broadcast and tournament. In our opinion, we did great and will continue to be great.
