A reminder that tonight is our Duke of Edinburgh’s Award parents evening. From 6.30pm in the 6th Form Centre you are welcome to come and find out all about DofE this year!

It’s always a pleasure to hand out certificates. Yesterday we were delighted to celebrate the first 36 completions of DofE Bronze with year 10. Looking forward to handing out even more soon!

Minibus expected back at school at 8.50

Massive congratulations to both teams who, after a very early start, have completed their @dofe Gold expedition!! Aiming to get on the road asap and current eta is 8.30-9 back at TPS

Big day today as the teams went from Seathwaite to Langdale. Beautiful weather and a great location!

Gold qualifyer 2025 has begun! Today we’re enjoying blue skies as we go back over navigation ahead of the official expedition start tomorrow!

All in all an amazing trip and well done to our climbers who are heading home knackered! Current ETA 17.00 will update with any big changes!

It also gave us more chances for students to try seconding some routes

Day three has seen us try some Limestone at Harborogh Rocks!

To try and avoid the day today we changed plans and headed to Birchen Edge to try some more moves in the high 4s/5s.

Even Mr Findon and Mr Ankers managed to squeeze a go in, before we headed to our basic accommodation for the night.
