Accountability shouldn’t divide us; it should bring us together in expecting better from anyone who asks for our trust. Being “politically homeless” doesn’t mean being disconnected—it means being open. Open to listening, to real conversations, to finding common ground where it actually exists… and it exists more than we’re led to believe. There’s strength in remembering we have more in common than we don’t. The path forward isn’t about picking sides—it’s about choosing each other and refusing to let our differences be weaponized against us. We can disagree, stand firm in our values, and still move forward together. That’s where the real power is.
