🌏 Site Visit EP.2｜Deepening Exchanges: From Dialogue to Connection 🌏 The site visit of the 2025 Presidential Hackathon International Track moved on to Taipei, focusing on cross-border exchange, learning, and dialogue on industry applications to deepen international connections and collaboration opportunities. 📍 Taipei｜Friendship Networking Exchange 🤝 To foster exchange and mutual learning among outstanding projects and teams, a Friendship Networking Exchange was specially arranged. Creating for cross-team dialogue and experience sharing. The event brought together teams from past Domestic and International Tracks, along with committee and AI consultant. Through project sharing and roundtable discussions, teams had the opportunity to get to know one another and exchange experiences. Discussions focused on project ideas, practical challenges, and implementation experiences, gradually building trust across teams and countries and opening up new avenues for future collaboration. 📍 Taipei｜Pegatron Corporation × Taiwan Association of the Deaf ⌚ This session focused on the application development, real-world needs, and use scenarios of smart wearable technologies. Representatives from a leading technology company, Pegatron Corporation, and a user organization, the Taiwan Association of the Deaf, were invited to participate. Through industry-led technology sharing and first-hand feedback from the deaf and hard-of-hearing community, the discussions fostered in-depth dialogue. Cross-sector and practical discussions enabled deeper insights into the potential of smart wearables in supporting communication and daily life, helping innovative technologies better align with real needs and move closer to real-world application. 📍 Taipei｜Historical Walking Tour 🏮 Concluding the site visit, we took part in a walking tour through Dadaocheng and Dihua Street, exploring century-old commercial and cultural districts. The visit to Wang Lai Shan Pineapple Culture Park also showcased the diverse applications of pineapples—from cultivation to processing—extending to products such as pineapple vinegar, enzymes, and specialty souvenirs.
