Congratulations to my brother, Coach Iona Uiagalelei, on his appointment as the new Head Coach of San Bernardino Valley College! It's indeed a remarkable achievement, especially for a Polynesian coach at the collegiate level. My pride in his accomplishment is evident, and it's great to know that he is well-respected and held in high regard within the coaching community. Coach Iona's reputation as a passionate coach who excels at developing athletes is clearly well-deserved. His track record at MT SAC speaks for itself, with numerous National and State Titles, impressive win-loss records, and a significant number of athletes sent to Division-1 colleges and the NFL. It's no surprise that attendance numbers have already seen an increase since his arrival at SBVC. SBVC made an excellent choice in hiring Coach Iona Uiagalelei. Athletes enrolling at the college can expect to be part of a winning program and benefit from his expertise and track record of success. Best of luck to my brother Iona and the entire SBVC team as they embark on this new chapter.
