Loved @mburnsmath #NCTMLA22 session on assessment interviews! So many takeaways but some of my favs are in the pics below. When we listen to students’ reasoning instead of for the answer, we learn what they know (and they know a lot!) and can move them from there.

We went camping today and got lost in the woods, students worked through 4 challenges to make it back to the cabin! A fun transformation to work on adding and subtracting skills.
