Yes, what counts as "American" today is fully contested between conservatives and liberals. Who decides? There is no longer any unified culture or set of supreme values that enjoy a consensus. We can lament this, but it's a fact. So when we ask immigrants to "assimilate," what culture are we asking them to assimilate into exactly?

I've been saying this for a while: we win by asking for colorblindness and equal treatment under impartial laws with harsh standards. Most nonwhites will fail to meet those standards; the few nonwhites who can assimilate are the people we already wanted as neighbors anyway.

Nick is a left wing atheist with no interest in Judaism. Communists who wear our faith as a skinsuit do not represent us. Roberts-Smith is a hero. Judaism, above all, is about justice. Framing an innocent war hero to enforce left wing authoritarianism is as far away from Judaism as you can get.

Wendy and I bought our home in Killara in 1983 for $118,000. She was flying with Ansett, I was at the bank. We saved the deposit in just under two years. The agent reckons it's worth about $3.2 million now but we'd never sell, too many memories. I don't understand why young people say it's impossible. We weren't on big money. We just had discipline 🏡

Boomerism collapsing is like watching the Soviet Union collapse Question is, what replaces it?

Brian Armstrong explains how he built Coinbase on nights and weekends while working at Airbnb Brian first advises those who are currently employed to not build your project on company hours or on your company laptop: “If you build it on company time or on the company hardware, the company probably owns the IP.” Then he describes his schedule for working on Coinbase while still working full-time at Airbnb. “I would often work [at Airbnb] until 7pm. I’d come home, eat dinner, and then I would work from 8pm to midnight. I would do that maybe 3-4 days a week on weekdays. And then on the weekend I’d work Sunday afternoon for 7-8 hours.” Brian did this consistently for about a year and a half until Coinbase was far enough along for him to get seed funding from Y Combinator. “It sucked. I mean I was tired after the full day of work [at Airbnb]. But this is where determination comes in… At that moment in time, I was in my late 20s, and I was like, ‘I really want to try to build something important in the world.’” When asked how he maintained friendships during this time, Brian replies: “I was pretty intense about it. I would say I sacrificed friendships for it. It’s not like I was just never responding to people, but I’ve seen this happen to various people. They get to a certain point in their life. Sometimes they turn a certain age where they thought they would have more done by then or maybe someone in their family passes away and they’re like, Oh my god, time is finite. It’s precious. And something happens where they’re like, ‘I’m going to get this done, no matter the cost.’” Brian tells those out there who might be in a similar situation: “Go hard at it. Finish your book. Launch your thing. Just start doing stuff - and even if you don’t know what to do, just do anything, because action will produce information and it’ll help you get to the right thing.” Video source: @StevenBartlett (2022)

Under Islamic rule, non-Muslims were forced to pay a jizya tax simply for the right to exist as second-class citizens. In Mamdani’s NYC, non-whites are forced to pay a “racial equity tax.” It’s the same tax.

Medical students in Pittsburgh GLOAT over there not being any white students.. “The future of medicine is in great hands..” Civilization is so cooked.

🚨 MAMDANI: “The wealth of a median white household in the city is more than $200,000, while that of a black household is less than $20,000 … We are reckoning with the long history of racism here and starting to act upon a framework that puts equity right at the center of it.”

Every day the mayor of the largest city in the US wakes up and tries to figure out how to hurt white people He announces his plans to hurt white people on television without fear This is not an Islam problem or a Marxism problem, this is antiwhite hatred

NEW: Zohran Mamdani vows to push a race-based "equity" plan on New Yorkers because he claims White families are making more money compared to Black families. Sounds like race-based discrimination to me.
