@DasmrSutton @Anthony_Pugh2 @hoopvision68 I got bored in 10 seconds of that video. If you like it, good for you, or bad for you. Idc. It’s lame. 95% of ppl that like that stuff can’t make a left handed layup
English

@TapeOverStats @Anthony_Pugh2 If u dont think its fun to talk analytics, fine, but to act like theyre stupid is absurd. Real hoop fans do like talking about it and understanding the game on a deeper level. Ppl like @hoopvision68 do a good job of blending film and analytics

Alabama’s practice court
4pt line = don’t hug the 3 pt line & spacing
Blocks outside the 4 point line = “Houston spots”for spacing
Corner rectangles = transition & staying wide
Dotted line = shrinking the floor defensively
Larger box = no catch zone defensively
Smaller box = dunker spot

@DasmrSutton @Anthony_Pugh2 Where you see me clowning those coaches?! Lmao. They all shoot middys, use the entire court, play defense. Using analytics and what Oats does is not the same thing
English

@TapeOverStats @Anthony_Pugh2 The best do both. Dusty may, Dan Hurley, Brad underwood, Todd golden all the best coaches use analytics, there’s a reason for that. The fact u think analytics is looking at a spreadsheet is hilarious. Dumb people are resistant to ideas that they can’t understand
English

@DasmrSutton @Anthony_Pugh2 It’s just lame man. Simple as that. Ppl want to talk hoop, not formulas.
English

@TapeOverStats @Anthony_Pugh2 Sorry this what u have to respond w cause u get scared of numbers and aren’t smart enough to have basic modern basketball conversations
English

@TapeOverStats @Anthony_Pugh2 If it’s so bad how come they’ve been top 4 in the country in offense the last 3 seasons??
English

@DasmrSutton @Anthony_Pugh2 Oats may let you touch his pickle if you join his staff….
English

@TapeOverStats @Anthony_Pugh2 There’s a reason he’s had a top 4 offense the last 3 years. Mid range shots are inefficient for 90% of players. They should only be taken in specific circumstances/specific players
English

@BSO @TylerVesely @JayJDONDA @DiamondzAndWood Keep digging Robert....Ppl at the university knew about it and helped hide it, UA loves protecting a yt
English

@TylerVesely @JayJDONDA @DiamondzAndWood So she worked with him for at least 3 years, and, in his own words, was his girlfriend before they got engaged. So how exactly did you think that happened? You think he got divorced and then realized he was in love with his assistant, who left for another job just randomly?

@FultonW_ So Howard’s gameplan to only be down 4 at halftime, with much lower level of talent…..HOF coach there? Lawd
English

We didn’t give Nate Oats enough credit for that gameplan in the Sweet 16 when Alabama led Michigan at halftime
Matt Norlander@MattNorlander
CBS Sports research: Michigan is the first team since 1967-68 UCLA to lead by 15-plus at halftime in the Elite Eight and in the Final Four. That team went 29-1 and had a guy named Alcindor — the greatest college player there ever was — starting at center.
English

@johnrivers131 And his role for Oats will be he’ll stuck in a corner cause his highest mathematical chance of hitting a 3 is there
English

@bradysmitchell @BurnerLJohnson @TheRealCruzOx @FultonW_ And yall called Cardwell weird and lame lol
English

@NBADraftWass @johnrivers131 Right. He didn’t come back and “develop”. Sears got out of his way
English

Look back at Philon in HS, same story today—No muscle, no explosion, no fancy deep shooting, just gets to spots, making shots, uses touch
Jonathan Wasserman@NBADraftWass
Kansas commit Labaron Philon has really stood out early for Link. Shooting 60% in EYBL Scholastic play. Shooting well off the dribble and making some passes that require serious skill/timing. Quick feet/hands on D, 12 steals in 5 games.
English

Nate Oats postgame 👀
"We know we gotta get bigger... We saw the opportunity to bring some size on, after Nnaji was declared eligible, and most people, including ourselves, thought Bediako would be eligible. We had one judge who thought so. He would've definitely helped the situation with the rebounding... We wouldn't have gotten out-rebounded by 13 tonight had we been able to continue to play him"

@JBRBracketology Great work JBR. This is what I live for.

Did Will Wade go under contract for a house in Baton Rouge, while simultaneously quitting on his team?
NC State 11/3-2/22:
19-8, #27 Torvik, +2.0 WAB
NC State, since 2/23:
1-6, #101 Torvik, -1.7 WAB
Yikes.
Joe Giglio@giglio_OG
From the Zillow listing: Feb. 23?!!!! 👀 Will Wade operates in a different reality where the truth is malleable
English

@TheHoopHerald Man they were laughing at him wanting him to shut up about math. Hoop talk don’t need formulas.
English

@Smooth189 Let's also not forget Preston Murphy was too. He's still slinging that Nike bag under the table
English

@slatkingcole_ @johnrivers131 📠 don’t get how they convince middy shooters to come there. These kids not checking tape?
English

@blakebyler45 A kid that uses his middy getting upset when he goes somewhere that uses a math formula to say no to middys

"It hasn't been what I really wanted it to be."
Jalil Bethea was honest when assessing his sophomore season, but a new opportunity has presented itself this weekend in a freed-up guard rotation.
