We thought about our values of 🌟SupportOneAnother 🌟HelpOurCommunity and on our Christmas Jumper Day with a Difference, we collected food for our Tayview food larder 💜🎄 #DundeeLearning

Our choir performed at the Christmas party at @macmillancancer day centre. What a lovely event, we were very grateful to be invited. #DundeeLearning 💜🎄

Our P1 classes performed a wonderful Nativity to our school and then to their families. We loved how they communicated the Nativity story with singing, acting and Makaton! #DundeeLearning 💜🎄

We had wonderful trips this month to Webster Theatre in Arbroath to see “Beauty and the Beast” 🎭🎶 What a great experience for all our pupils 💜🎄😃 #DundeeLearning

What a fun filled month December has been! We have had panto trips, parties, film afternoon, Nativity performances, carol singing and finished with a singalong assembly! #DundeeLearning 💜🎄

Our P4s worked together to perform a very important message about bullying being unacceptable. They shared the story of the Ugly Duckling and told us what type of behaviour is bullying behaviour. They also sang songs with powerful messages! 💜

As part of our Tayview Curriculum, our P1s experience a balance of 🌟Direct Teaching 🌟Guided Learning 🌟Free Play It’s amazing to see how engaged everyone is in their Free Play sessions 💜 #PlayPedagogy #DundeeLearning

We are aiming for Rights Respecting School Silver Award🥈this year. As part of this work we have been learning about a new #UNCRC article every fortnight. This fortnight is #Article24 , we have already learned about Articles 42, 1, 13 & 3! As our children about their rights! 💜

Our #RightOfTheFortnight is Article 24 “I have the right to be as healthy as possible.” In P1 Free Play time we have had a road for emergency services, a hospital with very caring Drs and a school medical room! #DundeeLearning
