@velobetty That doesn’t work when it comes to the deliveries that make our cities thrive. Road charging is surely a better mechanism than encouraging congestion?

@EndoMetabPub Always mean to get a set of studded tyres and cheap rims for the winter, but never quite get round to it. +1 for switch to 28mm Gatorskins or 4 season. More comfortable, grip better & puncture less when roads have been gritted. If it’s super icy, I run/bus/run…

Cyclists: I've been running 23/25mm tyre widths and ~100psi pressure over winter. If I move to much bigger widths/lower pressure, do you get appreciably better grip in icy conditions? I don't want to run studs but maybe a CX bike wd help me?
