@Tee100_ I agree it is ! However, the force couple is stronger towards IR rather than ER so when time poor in my NHS clinics I will choose ER for the Ant Dislocators .. but I am not saying IR is not important I just won’t prioritise it, when I am time poor … below is one way to test it

I think I have finally found a way to standardise ext rotation at 90 degrees💪 abduction and 90° external rotation 🧗🏽‍♀️with a handheld dynamometer…. After many iterations…. Now just need to establish my own intra tester reliability …[ CV] and Smallest worthwhile change🤦🏾‍♀️

@consultantPT Definitely helpful, I like this for neutral position, looks good. I guess the question is for anterior dislocators / instability i feel getting markers in 90 GHJ abduction might be useful as the position of apprehension like you did with ER, do you ever check IR in 90 abduction?

@Tee100_ @Tee100_ this can be done in standing or sitting … just need to try and standardise the feet … I think sitting would increase the intersession reliability … hope that helps !
