She is a forensic pathologist who has appeared like a comet in an industry where talents are defined by an incredible appetite, a fiery temper, and fierce persistence. In the original version, the role played by Japan's national actress, Satomi Ishihara. "Unnatural" is a mystery medical drama in which a forensic pathologist uncovers the truth behind cases hidden behind unnatural deaths. Since its broadcast on Japan's TBS in 2018, the series has created a sensation among Korean drama fans. It swept a total of six awards at the 96th Japan Drama Academy Awards, including Best Drama, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Screenplay, Best Director, and Best Original Soundtrack. The Korean remake will be directed by Park Yoo-young, known for ENA's "The Day of Kidnapping" and "Ms Incognito."
