I was just hot off the heels from drawing thiccslop for 4 years, and it's when I realized that this wasn't what made these characters appealing. It took a while for my perception to change and learn to do smaller proportions as everything I drew was so exaggerated for so long.

I'm very glad I studied the Jewelpet anime's art style closer. When I exaggerate their body types I'm a lot more conscious of the proportions. The faces I draw now are a lot more appealing too, imo. I REALLY do not like my first attempts at drawing jewelpet.
