He becomes the second man from Botswana to break 10 seconds in the 100m, after Letsile Tebogo. He also turns the first man in 2026 to break 10 seconds.

Letsile Tebogo 🇧🇼 suffered an injury during the men’s 100m heats at the Botswana Athletics Championships in Gaborone. His blocks slipped while he was testing it before the start of his heat. He had to be carried off the track.
