@927Reborn @springfulwren Again, I don’t doubt that but someone either needs to help coach his PR image or put someone forward to deal with PR. I think it would make a huge difference to the cause.

@ThatWitch33 @springfulwren Once you understand where Alek is coming from and connect with what he says, he is a really great leader, an example setter and has the best interests of his members and people at heart. He works incredibly hard and has so much respect from his members.

@springfulwren I absolutely will always stop and have a chat if I see my local branch, I think my local branch is the strongest you have and have a lot of respect for the members. Proper patriots 🫡

@springfulwren No of course, when you aren’t a millionaire banker, growth will be slower but the hard facts are that Yerbury turns a lot of people off, from a group that has a huge amount of potential. I hope to be proved wrong though.

@ThatWitch33 All I’ll say to the 130 members is that there’s more than 130, my friend has a higher membership number than that, and so does a member of my family… 🌝 we also are working from the ground up rather than grifting so the growth is bound to be not as quick as something like Lowe

@springfulwren I would have to disagree, that a party that’s been in place for over 2 years and has managed to gain roughly 1 member a week (based on the generous estimate of 130 members) is stunted. People voice why but it is dismissed. Regardless, I wish the party all the best.

@ThatWitch33 I don’t really think the membership has been stunted, it continues to grow as the days pass but i understand your concerns, i would still recommend you attend a conference or even talk to members at a stall even if you still don’t fully agree with Alek :-)

@springfulwren While I agree that it’s most likely true, I feel like the parties growth has been stunted by it. I appreciate the members are fully behind Alek & nothing will change but for me personally, I would want to see a change in leadership before I believe NRP can reach its potential.

@ThatWitch33 To be fair, a lot of our members that I’ve spoken to have also come from online or that of the social media spheres, I think both are important but despite Alek being known as a ‘reply guy’ we’ve still won many over online as much as in person

@springfulwren I don’t disagree that in person he probably comes across much better than he does online but he can not realistically win over every single potential member in person. Then you look at Luke and how he has changed perspective on NRP so quickly, should show how important it is.

@ThatWitch33 Yeah I agree that often the less ‘awakened’ voters are in a sense consumers to that of the leaders of parties but also I would say Yerbury is quite charismatic and able to win the favour of those in a conference, perhaps you should turn up to one and meet him in person? :-)

@springfulwren Unfortunately it’s not enough though. Whether we like it or not, part of politics is a popularity contest, you have to win favour and be able to listen to concerns & criticism of those you are wanting to lead. Something I’ve never seen Yerbury do.

@ThatWitch33 It’s a fair criticism but I think if you like the agenda that would enough. The point of the matter is that if us as a British people are to be put in the face on danger, a genuine political option will need to come forward, and I have no doubt that will be the NRP 🫡

@springfulwren There is stuff I like about NRP and have lots of respect for some of the members but I just don’t think Yerbury can win enough favour to lead the party to where it needs to be.
