@Gatormelon Being a person who was on ADHD meds as a preteen, I don't recommend it. It didn't take off the edge it made me a zombie! As I grew older I found different ways to help my attention. But the ADHD was only a part of it, was also dyslexic (not diagnosed til later in life) extra hard

Looking for some perspective. Is there anyone I know that has ADHD and is taking medication or some other approach? Life’s been … dull and haven’t really been able to see the bright side of things. Just been going through life pretending it wouldn’t be an issue for me.

Parents: Teach kids that their relationship with their coach is THEIR relationship. They have to take the initiative to work out issues instead of depending on you to do it. Don’t intervene on their behalf unless it’s absolutely necessary. That kind of independence is invaluable!
