Time to plant my flag and share with you who I am as a founder and who/what I strive to become for this space. Just know that I say this with LOVE and PASSION. lol
I'm going to bottom line this for all of you and be brutally honest, sorry not sorry.
YOU HAVE TO TRUST ME. PERIOD. PERIOD. there's not many other options at this point. TRUST & LOYALTY thats our motto. In the 11th hour is not the time to waver, it's not the time to lose trust or faith.
You guys see me building and building and building. You'd have to be daft and blind to not connect the dots of what i'm building, the partnerships that i've established in the last 3-4 months with @KCMontero and @saintsoflaNFT (media connects, CNN, NETFLIX, clothing manufacturers suppliers LEE, LL, WRANGLER, global event access.....cmon)
I'm stretched too thin? Well no shit ff course I am... I have been since we didn't sell out both our mints. I wanted to raise a couple mil between both mints to properly staff and build quicker and efficiently. But guess what we didn't, NOT even close! We raised like 10% of our goal.
I bet that any other project/founder in this position would have said..."Guys we didn't hit our goal, we won't build HQ, we can't buy equipment we'll have to also put the clothing co on hold, because without this funding it's just not viable" or "Hey guys so this flopped, I guess i'll need to go back to my construction business, because I can't support this financially for the longterm...." nah
I chose to do is this instead. 👇
TOLD MYSELF, I'M NOT A PUSSY AND I'M UP FOR A GOOD FUCKING CHALLENGE. I'M HONEST AND LOYAL TO A FAULT, SO I CAN'T LEAVE HANGING, THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE INVESTED IN ME AND BELIEVE IN ME. SO LETS FUCKING DO THIS, LETS NOT CUT ANYTHING OUT, LETS FUCKING BUILD WHAT WE SET OUT TO BUILD.
The Floor? Thats because people are "tired of waiting". I haven't complained, ffs I own like 900 HMN5 cause "people are tired of waiting". "TIRED OF WAITING" is a sentiment felt across the entire space across all projects. BUT GUESS WHAT FOR YOU GUYS, the @okinalabs holders IT WILL HAVE BEEN 1000000000% WORTH THE WAIT.
❌Here's What We DIDN'T DO.
❌ We didn't raise millions of dollars just to "build a game" they never launch.
❌ We didn't raise tens of millions just to release new seasons of mediocre art and throw parties, as the utility.
✅THIS IS WHAT WE WILL HAVE ACCOMPLISHED.
✅ Launched Art Collections that are adored by the masses. Which will continue to evolve in EXPlORATIONS. And guess what? I won't fail on the art, it will be fucking insane.
✅ A HQ that will be unrivalled by any in the space. A true maker space for the business and our holders. Home for the OKINA LAUNCHPAD, OKINA MAKER SPACE, OKINA COMMUNITY MARKETPLACE and so much more.
✅ A proper scalable business model that will grow year after year. Creating a truly SUSTAINABLE business!
✅ Created an icubator and launchpad to support new and existing businesses in both WEB2 and WEB3.
So recap, yes i've fucked up, yes its been messy, yes I've pivoted, yes i haven't communicated properly, wtf fine.
But give me some fucking credit here. I don't need praise, I don't need pandering, I don't need flowers.
I still take everything as constructive criticism.
BUT LET ME BUILD and TRUST THE PROCESS.
ASK QUESTIONS of course, but don't do it back handedly, or with a gun to my head.
