You are part of a group of people who are mostly rational who are forced to take a private vote by pressing a red button or pressing a blue button. If more than 50% push the blue button, everyone lives. Otherwise, only people who pushed the red button live. Which button would you press? Be honest.

@JoelKatz Sometimes people forget that responding to violence with violence only prolongs the cycle itself. Peaceful discussion is much more difficult, but the results are stronger.

Why is more than 50% of my feed people arguing that anyone who suggests that violence is an appropriate response to advocacy should be violently punished?

@Acquired_Savant @CryptoQueenAU Well, I'm from Australia, and I didn't get the jab.. sure, I lost 2 jobs. But glad to say I was part of the resistance. Never masked up, never signed in to anything. Still don't know how to use a QR code. No one was forced. It was a mandate, and check it, a mandate is voluntary

I'm gonna stop you right there your royal heinous. Most people were not given a choice, they were coerced. It also was not private nor personal, it was a whole of society based oppression. Further, there was no medical efficacy to the vaccine, they were not tested. We aren't talking about a 'personal medical choice'. We are talking about forced societal experimentation and compliance based on fear and oppression. To suggest that we should not talk about it is similar to telling a sexual assault victim they enjoyed it and should stop crying. Yes, your position is THAT obnoxious and offensive. You are part of the abuse right now by suggesting that we should not have the freedom to speak. Of course I expect nothing less from the high and mighty 'queen' from Oz.

The Constitution’s pardon clause (Article II, Section 2) does not address the president’s mental state. The phrase “shall have Power” implies that a sitting president’s actions are valid unless their authority is formally suspended (e.g., via the 25th Amendment or removal through impeachment). This makes mental capacity a secondary concern to the president’s legal status as the officeholder. The 25th Amendment’s process for addressing incapacity requires proactive steps by the vice president and cabinet, which are unlikely in a politically charged context. Without such a transfer of power, courts have no mechanism to retroactively question a president’s mental state for actions taken while in office. Even if evidence of incapacity existed (e.g., medical records), it would likely be deemed irrelevant. Cases such as Ex parte Garland (1866), Biddle v. Perovich (1927), and Schick v. Reed (1974) establish that the pardon power is subject to minimal judicial scrutiny. Courts view it as a core executive function, and overturning a pardon based on mental capacity would require an unprecedented departure from this precedent. The rare instances where pardons have been questioned (e.g., exceeding constitutional scope) do not involve mental state. Proving that a president was “wholly incapacitated and unaware” of a pardon’s issuance is nearly impossible without clear evidence of unauthorized action (e.g., a staff member forging a pardon). Even in the case of Biden’s alleged autopen use, autopens are permissible if authorized, and courts would likely presume authorization absent compelling contrary evidence. Judicial intervention based on mental capacity would risk violating separation of powers, as courts are loath to second-guess executive actions explicitly granted by the Constitution. Hopefully that clear things up for you.

The two presidential frontrunners planted their flags on very different sides of the #crypto debate today. @POTUS made clear he would side with @SenWarren and @GaryGensler by continuing to support the @SECGov’s regulation by enforcement. @realDonaldTrump said he would stop the hostility towards crypto in the U.S. and “make sure” to start accepting campaign donations in crypto.
