@TheFavoriteNPC I often herald you as one of the best DMs i've ever had when it comes to NPCs, partly because you're always so mindful of how varied people are. But the more popular the hobby becomes, the louder that group of people become. At least it's easy to find them.

Ever want to weed out bad seeds at a TTRPG in a pretty benign way? Make a caring, inspirational, helpful, friendly, and trustworthy NPC Then let them be fat. Let them have facial scars. Let them have a severe disability. Those people can't STAND IT and love to comment on it.

Note: What brought this on? Watching a livestream game and a fat character is introduced and 5 members of the cast say nothing out of the ordinary while the other makes fat jokes and insults for the ENTIRE scene. Reminded me of all the times I inadvertently baited bigots before.
